Key Findings
New companies were established in 49 of the 50 states with Florida, California and Georgia at the forefront. Alsaka being the only state without a new pesticide company.

The number of international companies registering with EPA in 2006 was more than double than 2005, 30 companies posted international addresses worldwide.

While more products were introduced in 2006, a smaller percentage of the products were sub-registrations.

15 companies registered over 25 products, with many registering over 150 products and 42 new products were registered as “Restricted Use.”
