A higher yielding version of Roundup Ready soybeans

The US and Canadian authorities have cleared Monsanto's genetically modified glyphosate-tolerant Roundup RReady2Yield soybeans (MON89788) for commercial release. The company continues to seek approvals in major export markets ahead of a planned launch in 2009. The USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service proposed the deregulation of the GM soybeans earlier this year (Agrow No 514, p 14)....
