New acquisition

Sumitomo Chemical has acquired an 80% shareholding in the UK agrochemical distributor, Interfarm (Doddington, Cambridgeshire), from its former chairman, Chris Forrest. The purchase was made through Sumitomo Chemical Agro Europe (Lyon, France). Interfarm distributes a wide range of products in the UK and Ireland, with annual sales of around ¥1,000 million ($8 million), Sumitomo says....
