Approvals extended to 2011

The European Commission has issued details of the procedure for renewing approvals of active ingredients on Annex I of the EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414). The ten-year approvals of the first group of ais on Annex I were due to expire between 2008 and 2010. Earlier this year, the Commission extended the approvals to 2011 to give it more time to organise a renewal procedure (Agrow No 518, p 11)....
