Agrochemicals in the cereal area faced a 3 percent decline

Agrochemical sales in the UK remained flat with a 1% increase to £388.9 million ($720 million) among Crop Protection Association (CPA) members in 2006. Sales were impacted by a 3% decline in the cereal area, which accounts for two-thirds of UK arable land, the CPA says. However, this was partly offset by an increase of 3.6% in the oilseed rape area and the addition of new members to the industry association....
