MEPs: More ais should be subject to planned measures

The European Parliament says that more pesticide active ingredients should be subject to planned measures to prevent contamination of surface water. The call follows the Parliament's first reading of the European Commission's proposed surface water directive. MEPs voted in favour of amendments that would increase the number of ais controlled by the directive and also reclassify certain ais to a higher level of control....
