Conference: Whose pocket gets hurt by parallel trading?

An absence of uniformity in the interpretation of parallel trade rules among EU member states has created avoidable complications for companies wishing to take advantage of the system. An unwillingness to think through and eliminate any loopholes in the system has resulted in increasing proliferation of counterfeit trade within the EU.
