Bayer sales falling in Japan
|
"Harsh marketing conditions" in Japan and product divestments resulted in a 3.2% decline in sales of Bayer CropScience's Japanese subsidiary to ¥36,552 million ($314 million) in 2006. The company says that it plans to reorganise its operating structure between 2007 and 2009. Financial and management resources will be strategically allocated to cope with the changes in the Japanese market. The focus will be on registering new ais and launching new formulations of existing products, the company says....
