Sipcam wins partial release of PSD-restricted fungicides

Italian agrochemical company Sipcam has obtained "limited" permission to challenge action by the UK Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) to restrict the supply of some of its chlorothalonil-based fungicides. The PSD issued an enforcement notice to prevent the supply and distribution of 470,000 litres of Sipcam's chlorothalonil products that were not supported by re-registration data. The company challenged the notice early this month at the Royal Court of Justice in London and won the release of around 18,000 litres of these products....
