Yet another lawsuit

A coalition of US environmentalist and farmworker advocate groups has filed a lawsuit against the EPA over the re-registration of four organophosphate insecticides. The groups claim that the actions were illegal due to the Agency’s failure to address certain health risks to farmworkers, children and other bystanders, and due to its lack of consultation with the wildlife services over impacts on endangered species. It is understood that this is the first time that health effects and endangered species assessments have been linked in a single case....
