Aphids no more: Spirotetramat targets sucking insects

Bayer has received the first global approval for its broad-spectrum ketoenol insecticide, spirotetramat, in Tunisia. It will be marketed worldwide as Movento. A launch is planned for 2008. Bayer presented its new active ingredient at the BCPC Congress in Glasgow last month (Agrow No 530, p 21). The ai comes from the same family as Bayer's insecticide/acaricides, spirodiclofen and spiromesifen....
