BAS600F is a fungicide that has been under development at BASF over the past ten years. The product was tested in Brazil in 2006 for use on vines, aubergines, watermelons, tomatoes, lettuces, borecoles, cucumbers, pumpkins, onions, garlic, carrots, cantaloupes, beetroots, chillies, cabbages, potatoes, rice, cereals, soybean and bananas.

The product is described as a "TAP" fungicide. Analysis of BASF's patents has allowed us to speculate on the structure of the product (see the Agrow Intelligence database). Furthermore, the product ascribed to BAS600F is active against Alternaria solani (potato/tomato early blight), Botrytis cinerea (grey mould), Leptosphaeria nodorum (glume blotch), Magnaporthe grisea f. sp. Oryzae (rice blast), Pyrenophora teres (barley net blotch).

BAS600F is expected to be launched in 2010 or 2011.
