Holm Honored With Agrow Lifetime Achievement Award
Dr Bob Holm, Executive Director Emeritus of the IR-4 Project and Meister Pro Advisory Board member, was honored with the first Agrow Awards Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent British Crop Protection Congress (BCPC).

Dr Holm served as IR-4 Executive Director from 1998 unitl his retirement in December 2006. Prior to joining IR-4, he spent 30 yeaers in a variety of research and development management positions within the crop protection industry at companies such as Diamond Shamrock Corp, Mobil Crop Chemical, Rhone-Poulenc, and Valent U.S.A. Corp.

One of Bob's greatest accomplishments has been his ability to develop win-win IR-4 partnerships with registrants, commodity groups, and regulatory agencies including the EPA, California Department of Pesticide Regulation, and Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency. These partnerships have resulted in thousands of food-use clearances on reduced risk, safer traditional chemicals, and biopesticides. More

Dow AgroSciences Recognized by International AGROW Awards
Indianapolis, IN--Dow AgroSciences was recognized Oct. 25 for its innovation and stewardship in the International AGROW Awards program.

In the AGROW Product Stewardship and Risk Mitigation Award category, Dow AgroSciences was named a finalist for its stewardship program for Profume® gas fumigant.

The award category recognizes outstanding management of agrochemical or agbiotech products in a sustainable way.

"Dow AgroSciences has nearly 50 years of experience in manufacturing and marketing fumigants," says Jason Nelson, marketing specialist for PROFUME.

"Dow AgroSciences has a strong corporate stewardship policy."
