Cotton insecticide prices were rising in Brazil’s three main cotton-growing areas in the last quarter of 2011. A “typical” basket of such products had increased from R$509-701/ha (US$279-384/ha at the current rate) to R$561-757/ha ($307-415/ha) from early October to the end of November, newswire Agrolink reports.
