How do I use Agrow.com?

How do I log in to Agrow.com?
To access subscription content on Agrow.com you must log in.
Enter your email id username and password into the relevant boxes at the top right hand side of the page and click 'Log in'.

How do I obtain my login details?
If you are a subscriber or on a free trial and haven’t received your login details please email OnlineAccess@informa.com or call our support team on +44 (0)20 7017 4161 between 9:00 and 18:00 GMT.

How do I view and edit my personal details?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account’ button on the right of the page.

From here, click on 'View/Edit Contact Details' to amend your account details.

How do I change my password?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account’ button on the right of the page.

From here, click on 'Change Password' and you can change your password.

How do I view my subscription details?
Once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account’ button on the right of the page.

From here, click on 'View Subscription Details' and you can check the status of your account.

How do I run an Advanced Search?
To run an advanced search, click on the ‘Advanced Search’ link (beneath the Search box) on any page. You will be taken to a page where you can choose from a selection of categories.

From here choose whether you want to search for any of the words, all the words or the exact phrase using the dropdown beneath the Keyword search box on the Advanced Search page.

You can specify the date or select the date range of the published material you want to return and narrow your search by selecting from one or more dropdown menus.

Click the ‘Search’ button at the bottom of the page to perform the search.

Once your search has finished you can sort your Advanced Search results by chronologically or by relevance. You can also increase or decrease the number of results appearing on a page

To save your results, simply click on the ‘Saved Search’ button at the top right of the Advanced Search page and select a name for your saved search. You can also check the box ‘Alert Me for New Content’.

The updated results of your saved search will then be emailed to you.

How do I set up a Saved Search?
First, run an Advanced Search. To save your results, simply click on the ‘Saved Search’ button at the top right of the Advanced Search page and select a name for your saved search.

How do I manage my standard News Alerts and personalised News Alerts?

Standard News Alerts
Standard News Alerts round up the key news stories of the day and are sent to the email registered on your account. From these Alerts you will be able to click through to the complete story on the site. They are sent out at a frequency set by you. This can be daily, weekly or monthly. You can also turn them off. The News Alert can either be in html or text.

To manage your standard News Alerts, once you have logged in with your username and password, click on the ‘Manage my Account’ button on the right of the page. From here, click on “Manage Standard News Alerts” and you can change your settings.This page allows you to edit the format and frequency of your standard News Alerts. Any personalised News Alerts you have can be managed in the Saved Searches section. Standard Alerts can be set for PDF issues.

Personalised News Alerts
After saving a search or searches, you can have an alert sent to your email with news stories on that topic, as they are published. If, for example, your search includes ‘Glyphosate’, you can have the refreshed results of your search emailed to as one News Alert.

How do I use My Clipboard?
Your Clipboard is located on the right hand side of the site. You can only access this once you are logged in. The Clipboard will enable you to select, save and print as many articles as you need. To add an article to your Clipboard, simply click on the paper clip in the top right hand corner of a full article. This will then be saved to your Clipboard.

How do I print an article?
To produce a printer-friendly version of a page, click the printer icon on the top of an article. This will launch a new window where you can select your print options. You can also print from your Clipboard. After you have added your article to the Clipboard, you can select the item and click on the print icon. You can print more than one article.

How do I set up an RSS feed?
The first thing you need is an RSS reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser (like Bloglines), and some of which are downloadable client-side applications (like Sharp Reader). All of them allow you to display and subscribe to your preferred RSS feeds.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is click on the orange RSS button on Agrow's RSS-ready news pages.

Once you've clicked you may be taken to a page that displays a bunch of code (although your browser may pick up the feed for you). Don't worry! All you need to do is cut and paste the page's URL (website's address) into a new feed in your news reader... and then wait for updated Agrow content to be delivered to you. It's as simple as that!

Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, have functionality that automatically picks up RSS feeds for you. For more details on these, please check their websites.

Can I take advantage of all the features available on Agrow.com if I am not a subscriber?
No, if you don’t have a subscriber login (email id and password) you will be unable to access all the features on Agrow.com.

If you are a current subscriber and do not have a username or password, you can activate your account by contacting our technical support team via email at OnlineAccess@informa.com or telephone at +44 (0)20 7017 4161.

Please quote your customer number as this will speed up the process. If you have a company account administrator, please contact them and ask them to add you to your company subscription account.

I subscribe to more than one Informa service; can I use the same login name and password to access all of my services?
If you or your company are subscribers to more than one of our news services, you will not need to register your profile more than once. When logged into any service, use the navigation buttons at the top right of the page, or use the related links to navigate through multiple products from a particular story.

How does Informa identify me as a registered user?
Your subscription is enabled by the use of a cookie. A cookie is essentially your identification card, and cannot interfere with your software or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that placed it on your computer.

Can I log in from more than one computer?
